I have court in 2 weeks to end my probation, can I be drug tested on that date?

I'm in the state of California and have passed all of my tests without aid and have completed every other component of my probation and my PO told me I'd never have to see him again and was very positive about the whole thing and how well I was doing, so I'm not worried about him, but can the court do anything?

I don't view marijuana as a drug and it should be a persons right to use it if they want without doing harm to anything/anyone and I never have. I went with this probation to avoid further problems, I was accused falsely in the first place and wasn't able to fight it because I don't have an attorney.

Generally speaking, any time they make a change to your probation you will be tested. i.e., when it starts, if you miss a check-in, if they suspect something and think they need to be watching you more closely, and well....when your probation ends. It is not a guarantee, but it is highly possible. They don't really "care" about your progress and just want to get done with you so that they can lighten their case load. On that same note they can lighten their case load by releasing you from probation, or you know...sending you to jail. They might not test, but probably will. As the other person said "dude get some rehab", if it is probation and not parole, then they are most likely not going to send you to jail, but rather make you attend NA meetings if you do test dirty. If you are finding yourself worried about passing, then whether you think so or not, you DO have a problem.

Be ready for a test at any time until you are released. You PO might get a bug up his rear and call you in to test you today. You never know and will always be responsiable even after you are released!
