Question about birth control pills.?

Me and my boyfriend are planning on having sex when I turn 18. We both agreed on not using condoms for our own personal reasons but instead use the pill. (Yes we both trust and love each other. We've been together for 2 years and we will both get tested for aids and STDs before we have sex blah blah blah.) I heard that the pill makes you gain wait though. I was wondering if that was true and if it is true for everyone and if it does how much wait does it make you gain? Thanks.

It doesn't make everyone gain weight. I have been on five different types of birth control pills and I haven't gained weight on any of them. There are a lot of pills out there that probably won't make you gain weight. Everyone is different though, it just depends on how your body reacts to the pills. If you try a pill with lower hormones, it will probably be less likely to make you gain weight. You could try something like Loestrin 24 (I was on it and loved it, no bad side effects or weight gain). You should ask your doc which he thinks is best.

Everyone is different. I never gained any weight, but friends of mine did. If you continue to eat healthy and exercise, you can minimize weight gain. Or it may not happen at all.

It really depends on the person/pill. Mine it says that a possible side effect is weight gain. But it didn't happen to me. But its sooo much more affective that condoms. hands down.

Yes it does, but only up to half a stone.
