Can you be tested for aids this way?? |
So I had a pap smear a couple months ago, and the woman asked me if i wanted to be tested for aids and I said yes, I thought you had to take blood to get tested for aids. Anyway, she never told me anything about it. Did she test me and it was negative so she didnt have to tell me anything? does it work that way?? you need to have a blood test to get tested,call the office and tell them to do it and not charge you for it if they don't do the testing in there and you still want to have it done go to your local health Department and ask for it, they ask a lots of ?? to see why will you be worry and decide if you really need to be tested, in my case the person I was with at that time just told me that he was bi- and had a partner after we were intimated so obviously I got scare and got tested happy to report I am clean, good luck You need the lab test a PAP not even the thin prep can detect AIDS/HIV. I would also find another doctor. Good luck to ya. |
