Isn't it Ironic......(About Trying to Conceive)

Isn't ironic how there are teenage girls that get so incredibly depressed at the thought of getting pregnant that they freak out and cry out in grief when they see that their home pregnancy test is positive? And they feel like their life is over with?

And then there are people that have fertility problems and are desperately trying to get pregnant. They are married and financially stable, and have everything ready for a baby, down to the fully decorated and equipped nursery. They cry out in grief when the home pregnancy test is negative.

So instead of these teenage girls going to Planned Parenthood and getting abortions, why don't they adopt their baby out to a couple that can't conceive? Also, why don't these teenage girls stop whining when they find out they are pregnant, because so many women desperately want to conceive and they can't.

Why are teenage pregnancies always assumed to be bad? My 16-year-old cousin got pregnant and had a baby at 17. She currently has a great job waitressing and can afford to care for the baby. She has help from her friends and family with watching the baby. Because she has a baby, she got a TON of financial aid from college so she starts college this fall. It hardly costs her anything because of the baby...So she will end up being a college educated Mom, who cares if she had it at 16?

Why do these evil people at Planned Parenthood try to abort all the teenage pregnancies. They give counseling on their options, but you know they are biased to lead them to an abortion.

What about the children that already need adopted?

If a girl really wants an abortion there is nothing anyone can do. It isn't just the people at planned parenthood. The girl has to make the final choice.

Planned parenthood definently do NOT try and get teenagers to have abortions at all! They give all the options and help them when they choose abortion. Yes many teen girls make wonderfull mums but others arent mature enough and know it. Adoption is not a option for many people. Imagine knowing you had a child out there somewhere not knowing whether it is ok or not.

well i remember when i was in high school the number one reason kids got abortions was because they didnt want to have to deal with telling their parents they where preg and saw it as the easy way out and i knew a good handfull of girls no older than juniors that had at least 3 abortions already it's kinda sad to look at it that way

Thats a great idea Im one of the few who are really frustrated when i hear someone talking about abortion but what I've just discovered is that these teenagers wont stop aborting coz they say its their bodies and that kind of stuff they just dont realise the impact of destroying a life

Life is just unfair those who desperately want to have babies go to any extent to try and have one yet for some its as easy as ABC and they just destroy that miracle before it even sees the world

I totally agree with the first part of your statement.. When i was young being pregnant was the worst thing that could happen to me. my parents disowned me at 20!!! i had my son and was never allowed to really enjoy pregnancy but secretly i had my moments between morning sickness and loved it. Now 9yrs on its the hardest thing in the world to fall pregnant. I want it so bad but its not happening. I want the joy i felt (on the days when i wasn't hurling).. It was just a small moment in time that i wish i could have back again but this time take the time to REALLY make the most of it.

I got pregnant at 15 married the day after i turned 16 and had son at 16 pregnant at 17 had her at 18 and now i am a great 22 year old mother of a 4 and 5 year old that have changed my life so greatly. I did get pregnant young but I could never even think of getting an abortion!!! I cant stand aboortions I think that anyone that thinks they are grown up enough to have sex then they are grown up enough to care for their child or make the smart choice to give it to a loving couple that will spoil your child more than you ever could. either way you child would be happy to have a mother that does they best she can to care for them or have a birth mother that loved them so much that she allowed them to have a better life that they deserve but NEVER get abourtion!!! the only reason i see fit for anyone to get an abortion is due to RAPE!!!! AND THE WAY I SEE IT GETTING POOP FACED DRUNK AND HAVING SEX AND NOT REMEMBERING THEN ENDING UP PREGNANT IS NOT RAPE CAUSE NO ONE SHOULD EVER GET DRUNK!!!! I DONT SEE THE POINT IN DRINKING IN THE FIRST PLACE. i WOULD RATHER BE ABLE TO DRIVE 24:7 THAN BE A DRUNK BUTT
