I'm checking out CNN and it showed that 47% of blacks in America have AIDS (almost half!)

I can tell you from my own experience, I'm in the military, we have to get tested annually.

So my question is, do any of y'all get tested? And do you think that more or less hip hop artists get tested?

You don't mean 47% of people that are being diagnosed with HIV/AIDS do you it couldn't be 47% of all Black Americans that would mean one in every two people.

yeah I don't think that statistic is correct. You heard it wrong. It may be half of new hiv cases (not half the blk population). That would be insane!

I can't vouch for anyone else but yes I have been tested. But I think that is the precentage of the new cases as well.

I think it may have said that 47% of ALL NEW AIDS diagnoses were in black people. Not 47% of the black community, just out of new cases. People are getting mad at you for getting your statistic wrong, but the fact still remains that an alarming amount of black people are dying from this disease. It's doesn't really matter HOW MANY, if 1 person dies from AIDS, it isn't a good thing and the epidemic is in the black community which makes it even worse.

As for me, I'm a virgin so I don't have to worry about AIDS, but I do know that when I start having sex, my partner is getting tested no matter what he says. If he ain't getting tested, he ain't having sex with me. And it's just simple as that.
