Where can i renew my first aid and CPR card??? |
I took my test in 2002 in school but now i need to renew it if i want to work where do i renew my card and what will i have to do do i need my old card to renew it can someone guide me through it or tell me where to renew it? After that long, you cannot renew any longer (1 year for CPR, 3 years for First Aid in the Red Cross, 2 years and 3 years for American Heart). You just have to take the course- about 6 hours or so for most forms. you will not be able to renew your expired card from 2002...its been too long, but you can retake the entire cpr course. I belive it is 2 four hour long sessions. You can also contact the local police department sometimes they offer courses as well. typically your local firestation has someone that does the classes. I would call there first. If not, your local chamber of commerce will know where to call in your town. Red Cross Contact the American Heart Association for classes in your area. |
