Gestational diabetes what juices are good?

i failed my first test havent taken my 3 hour one yet but in advanced i wanna kno what should i start drinking now? i kno what kind of foods i should eat but ill admit i was drinking soda and kool aid alot as of soda i mean like a sprite or 7up once in a while i did drink WATER and alot but i need to kno what i should drink more of now like apple juice or grape juice what are the best juices like those to drink. plz dont respond with water i already know that.

There are so many sugar free juices that are really good, go down the juice aisle at your grocery store. They make awesome sugar free cookies and candies too. Some people are diabetic all the time so there are many products catering to those when shopping. I would drink some of the sugar free juices from the store! Try Propel, it is low in calories and sugar.

i'm a diabetic with 2 kids and juice is really not a good choice your best bet is to stick with water. i had to eat 6 times a day and count my carbs like for breakfast i was allowed 30grams of carb and 15 was supposed to milk then 2 hours later i had a snack also 30 grams of carbs an 15 of then was a fruit then 2 hours later lunch i got 60 but half was supposed to be a fruit and a milk then 2 hours later snack 30 grams half for fruit then 2 hours later dinner 60 and half was a fruit and a milk then before bed 45 -15 for fruit 15 for milk. plus i had insulin twice a day and yes i followed this for 8 months and i only gained 15 lbs my baby weighed 5lbs 11 ozs. i had to measure everything even the milk . and i had to write it all down and check my blood sugars 6-7 times a day. I would also drink crystal light when i got tired of plain water. it was hard but so worth it. good luck maybe your test will come out fine.

Juices have as much sugar as soda, most of the time. So if you're looking to avoid sugar, don't drink juice.

Generally speaking, unless it's sugar free juice, your best bet is to avoid juices all together. One glass of OJ is the equivalent of eating 6 oranges - the juice will spike your blood sugar just as quick as soda and kool aid.

juice has alot of sugar. you need to stick with water and you can have gatoraide you can drink tea with out sugar. you can have coffee with equal what type of diet are you on and how many calories that is the main thing.
