Faint lines on a pregnancy test?

i took 2 rite aid pregnancy tests 2 days ago which came up with extremely faint lines, then to test them i ran one under water to make sure that it was not just the ink bleeding or any other possible reason the lines would show up. i then went and got a ept which came out negative. i have been suffering from headaches and nausea, and i took the tests about 3 days before the day i should start my period. unfortunately it is a weekend so i can't get ahold of the doctor. any suggestions on what i can do to try and get a better result?

a line is a line even if its faint. you wont get a positive on a test unless your pregnant. i would say the negative one was wrong. either buy another test and try again or get in to see your doctor on Monday

If there were faint lines you are pregnant...you CAN get a false Negative from a HPT but NOT a False Positive.

Same thing happened to me, and I WASN'T pregnant. Happened on three seperate tests, all different brands.
