Is it offensive to ask a potential partner for an AIDs test? |
my current girlfriend acted like i was insulting her i didn't know AIDs was protected by matrimony No, shouldn't be. you have every right to ask her to talk one especially if you're going to be sexually active. Any STD is not protected by matrimony... if she doesn't care enough to help you feel better about the situation then perhaps she really isn't a potential partner for you. Of course she may think that you thought she had one but did you try explaining to her the reasons why you want her to? It is not offensive at all, at least not to me. noi dont think its offensive.but it can be for sum ppl.so what u shud do is b4 u ask her or ani other partner again.tell her that u trust her but this is important.tell her that u dont hav any sti's(which i hope u dont) n ask her if she does.tell her that the only reason u wnt 2 kno is that you want both of u 2 be safe.n that u care about her.that'l do No it isn't. Its being safe and its protecting you. even though it could be for some people it should be asked I wouldn't be offended whatsoever. Has she slept around or something? Or had other partners? Because if she has she should totally understand why you would ask her something like that. Just wait until you're married. Then you wont have to worry. No it's smart. |
