Is it offensive to ask a potential partner for an AIDs test?

No, shouldn't be. you have every right to ask her to talk one especially if you're going to be sexually active. Any STD is not protected by matrimony... if she doesn't care enough to help you feel better about the situation then perhaps she really isn't a potential partner for you. Of course she may think that you thought she had one but did you try explaining to her the reasons why you want her to? It is not offensive at all, at least not to me.

If she thinks its offensive thats her problem. You are smart for wanting to be protected from aids. I mean she should be happy that you are that smart about sex.

I wouldn't be offended whatsoever. Has she slept around or something? Or had other partners? Because if she has she should totally understand why you would ask her something like that.
