Survey: Do you think the media will start to advertise AIDS in the same way as the other STDs?

now there are commercials about Herpes medication and Syphilis testing...That has actually helped the taboo of STD's decrease. However, all the media talks about is AIDS testing. Do you think they will ever reach a point of advertising like that of diabetes and cancer (surviver advertisements, celebrity advocates living with it, medication commercials, etc)

I believe that will help soften the stigma of the disease...What are your opinions?

It is a very touchy subject and most people aren't ready to deal with becoming proactive about HIV or discussing it. As more and more people get it, it will become more advertised and marketed and received. But I hope it will not be too late. I have a 5 and 7 year old. I know an HIV educator and she tells me that they will not have hardly any non infected people to Marry.
