International Custody Problem?

This is sort of long but I could use some advice.

I was dating a girl from Ireland who was doing her Masters here in Florida. She went back to Ireland when she finished she went home to Ireland and then as 2 months pregnant.

She had the baby there (a boy) and didn鈥檛 out me on the birth cert because I wasn鈥檛 there at the time.

I was mad about that so she said she would add me but I started worrying that he wasn鈥檛 mine so I asked fro a test. I had to go to Ireland for it and we had to go to court to get my name added to the birth cert. Of course I had to pay for it all because she said it was the hospital who left my name off and she wasn鈥檛 contesting paternity.

I wanted to set up some sort of visitation but I had to go e I had taken too much time off work already.

When I asked her for aid I would have to go to Ireland. I asked her to send my son over but she refused she said I could come to visit him. I decided to go to court for visitation and I had to go in Ireland.

It cost a fortune and the judge screwed me.

The ruling says I鈥檓 not allowed to take my son to America and she doesn鈥檛 have to send him either. I have to go there to see him. She has to allow me to see him during the first three weeks of June, but I have to go there. She doesn鈥檛 have to let me take him anywhere on my own. The visitation is at her house or her parent鈥檚 house. The judge said it was because of the risk that I would take him out of the country.

She said I鈥檓 welcome to come and see him any time but she won鈥檛 be letting me take him to America at all.

She is considering coming to America in October to visit her cousin and will bring my son with her. She said she will come to Florida for a visit.

Is there any way I can prevent her leaving the country with him?

While she鈥檚 here can I take her to court?

I want custody of him during the summer and she can have him back in Ireland during school time.

I figure if I can get her to court in America then I will be granted that.

Can I do that or will a judge here just say that she has to go back to school in Ireland?

I really can鈥檛 afford more lawyer fees if I can鈥檛 win this.

It's so unfair that I only get to see him for 3 week out of every year.

Legally you can't take her to court here as the child doesn't reside here, her country has the right to make their decision and I doubt Florida court would go against it. You can't force her to stay, legally she isn't a resident of the US either. Most countries don't force out of country visitations. I know people that have babies here in the US and the other parent in another country wanting visitations and the US courts will not force any parent to send their child to another country. I doubt you would win your case even in the US. That is one good reason to not be with someone you know is going to be living in another country.
