For Women Only (Kinda Gross Sorry) ?

I already know everyones gonna say go see your doctor again, and I'm working on it, but my doctor is in a different town so its not so easy to arange. OK so about 3 months ago I thought I was starting to get a yeast infection, it had the typical signs, itching, irritation, cottage cheese like discharge. The doc didn't do a test on the first visit cuz I had my period and felt uncomfortable. I was prescribed diflucan, and at the same time started an anti-depressant and sleep aid. The diflucan didn't help much, it took away the itching but the discharge just got worse, so it wasnt cottage cheese like, just thick and white, odorless though, bt constant. I went back and she did a test, gave me another round of diflucan, and did all STD test. She said it could be bacterial vaginosis and they would call me with the results. I recieved no call and when I asked they said the results were clean for everything. To this day I still have irritation,frequent urination, abnormal discharge. There's just something not right and I would really like to know what it is. Any ideas while I wait for my doctors app.?

I thought the same thing about the UTI, but they did check my urine and apparently it was clear, which I personally think is impossible with the frequency of my urination, and the irritation. Thanks though.

Sometimes yeast infections can be hard to get rid of completely....i had to take a week of diflucan everyday at one point to get rid of it, and while u have a yeast infection, stay away from too much sugar, the yeast feeds off it, and makes the infection difficult to cure! hope that helps

I thought I had the same thing a while back, but it ended up being a UTI. I could have sworn it was either yeast or bacterial vaginosis, but the idiots at the ER never took a urine sample. So I had to wait another week for the symptoms to come back, then decided to see the doctor. I'm pretty sure that's what you have...if they didn't check your urine.
