Good for you. Getting tested is very important for people of all ages, genders, races, and levels of sexual activity. You've made the right decision.

Where do you live? If it's anywhere near a metropolitan area, you have a few choices.

First and Foremost, look for your local Planned Parenthood. Their website is http://www.plannedparenthood.com. You can find tons of information there on testing and you can even make an appointment online.

If that isn't possible, I suggest looking for a branch of the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). They are pretty much everywhere, and a quick google search will tell you if there is an affiliate in your area. They often are connected to family planning clinics that will test you and inspect your health for free.

Also, if you're in school and have this resource, try talking to a counselor or infirmary worker about opportunities for testing in your area. At my high school we had a free testing day twice a year.
