Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test book by Tom Wolfe...?

Okay so I *tried* reading the electric kool-aid acid test book but it just seems like the writing jumps from one thing to another, or is my attention span just being silly. Am i the only one who had trouble?? Is the book easier to understand than what I'm getting.. or should I reread it again???

This one was used to test abusive activities in the 80s.
The book is said to be written by a terrorist victim in Iran. Though
not ever was this famous rumor proven. This book was a topic of
family values discussion for many in the revolutionary peace movement. A controversy is always difficult to learn.
