I have come up with my own idea for a sequel to THE INCREDIBLE HULK. You can either say what you think of it and or state your own ideas.
Title: THE INCREDIBLE HULK 2, or maybe THE INCREDIBLE HULK RETURNS
Plot: It has been a while since the end of THE INCREDIBLE HULK. Bruce is still hiding from General Ross in Bella Coola. Also Emil Blonsky, a.k.a. Abomination is locked up in a S.H.I.E.L.D. facility.
One night a shrouded man enters the facility exhibiting great mental powers. The man frees Abomination from his bindings and reveals that he is Samuel Sterns, a.k.a. the Leader. The two escape together and Leader takes them to an abandoned military lab in the desert. Leader then begins to explain to Abomination his plan, and offers Abomination the chance of revenge against Banner, and to this Abomination accepts.
General Ross continues searching for the Hulk, with no luck. Do to his failed attempts the Pentagon sends in General John Ryker to take over the mission, but Ross gets to still be involved. Ryker's aid is Major Glenn Talbot. Ryker comes to Ross with enthusiasm saying they'll be able to catch the Hulk together, but really Ryker was trying to keep Ross happy.
Betty has continued dating Leonard Samson but her feelings for Bruce are still stronger then her feelings for Leonard. And Leonard says that she has to choose. Meanwhile Betty tries to find out anything she can about Bruce and eventually meets his cousin Jennifer Walters who had collaborated with Bruce on the project, but wasn't present at the test. They work together with another man that was on the project who was friends with Bruce named Rick Jones.
Before the university had Bruce's blood destroyed Sterns had managed to save two samples of the synthetic copies of Bruce's blood.
In Bella Coola, Bruce continues to train himself on controlling the Hulk, but after one of his tests he accidentally goes berserk and has a rampage, but is able to escape from the law.
Leader hears about this incident and sends Abomination to Bella Coola to capture Banner.
Samuel had a brother named Philip Sterns. He is an ordinary guy that has been worried about his brother. Samuel visits Philip and offers him the chance of a life time by joining him. Philip accepts and Leader injects him with one of the samples of the synthetic blood turning Philip into Madman.
Bruce contemplates moving from Bella Coola. One day he is walking through town when he sees a wrecked ship. He hears that everyone on it was brutally murdered, and the ship had sustained very heavy damage. Bruce then suddenly sees Abomination come out of nowhere shouting, "Banner!" Abomination begins to destroy several things continuing on shouting, "Come out! Fight me!" Bruce realizes that he must do something and then Abomination spots and confronts him saying, "There you are." Abomination grabs Banner saying, "You're coming with me." Bruce suddenly begins to turn into the Hulk forcing Abomination to drop him and then the two brawl. The tear apart the town in their battle, but Abomination prevails forcing Bruce to run away.
Bruce runs back to America with the intention on finding Betty.
Abomination also returns to America and continues to hunt Bruce.
Meanwhile Leader and Madman go to Betty's house to kidnap her to use as a hostage. Leonard, Rick, and Jennifer are visiting Betty at the time, discussing what to do. Madman breaks down the door and Leader confronts them saying not to move. Betty manage to turn on an alarm that her father gave her in case Bruce were to turn up again, but of course she'd never use it for that purpose.
Ross gets the signal and he with Ryker, Talbot, and their men head towards Betty's house with a large force.
Leader begins to monologue about gamma being the future, showing them his second synthetic blood sample. Suddenly Ross and his men arrive and battle Madman. Leader forces Betty and Jennifer to come with him into an armored van. Leonard has a struggle with Leader, but Leader pushes him away and then escapes. What Leader doesn't know is that Leonard managed to grab the sample of synthetic blood. "Come on," Leader says to Madman and they escape in the van. "No," Leonard shouts and then injects himself with the synthetic blood seeing no other way. Leonard then turns into Doc Samson and runs to pursue the van. Leader sees this and realizes that he is missing the sample. "Philip, stop him," Leader shouts. Madman then jumps out and fights Doc Samson as the pursuit continues but eventually Leader and Madman manage to escape.
Bruce arrives at Betty's house tired from Abomination pursuing him and finds Ross and Ryker with their men there. He is spotted by Talbot and there is a pursuit, and Banner is forced to turn into the Hulk and runs into the city. As Hulk fights off the military Doc Samson approaches him saying that Betty and Jennifer need their help. Out of control Hulk attacks Samson and It got cut off!
and the two get into a heated battle until Bruce regains control right before killing Samson. Ryker than captures Bruce and takes him to a base.
Leader sends out a television broadcast saying that he wants Bruce Banner to come to the Washington Bridge alone. And if not Betty and Jennifer will die. Seeing this Ross knows what he must do but after seeing it Ryker says that they cannot let the Hulk go again and that is why he is a disgrace. Ross meets Samson and Samson says in order to stop Leader they'll need the Hulk. Ross says that he knows this and they come up with a plan.
Samson creates a distraction, and Ross runs and frees Bruce from his bindings and tells him to go save Betty. Ryker than confronts them with a gun telling Ross to bind Bruce again. Ross explains the situation by Ryker says that he doesn't care and won't let Banner escape again. Ryker is then struck down by Talbot, since Talbot knows that Bruce has to go save Betty so Bruce manages to escape.
Br This is a thoughtful and entertaining sequel, seemingingly making up for a variety of mistakes that the first film made.
With the exception of hiding in new jersey (I would let him hide in the abandoned subway system of NYC), this movie is everything a fan would want.
Too bad hollywood wouldn't touch this with a ten foot cattle prod.
