Should homework be given to students on a daily basis?

I think that it should as it
- helps to review for tests
- allows teachers to monitor progress
- allow for more practise
- aids in remembering topics
- helps the students understand the concept
- and helps to prepare for next track

What else? I need to write an essay.. so any ideas on anymore strong points i could use? or proof? or just your opinion
or maybe any suggestions on how i should put it in an essay?
Any feedback would be appreciated.

I'm in grade ten and constantly complain about homework too but i know that eventually it is helpful for my future and career which is why I am supporting this.
But it sucks because i have to write an essay supporting homework.. FOR HOMEWORK.

yes....when i went to school,we had homework every night!.now kids come home..nope no homework,,we parents are like whut...can't understand that,but then i think of the new age we live in..who's got time to grade all that work as new technology occupies even the teachers time at home....ask jeves...

YOu can give it on weekdays but dont give it on fridays or weekends. that is way too much
