Disability testing..?

Does anyone know of a program or website that can help diagnose disabilities and/or aid in getting tested? It's for my brother and he is 24 and diagnosed with ADD, but I believe he has more than that...Please help.

Take him to the doctor, and get a referral. The doctor's tests are a lot more accurate than any test on a website.

Check with his doctor as a starting point. If you are thinking that something psychological/emotional is going on (such as depression), the doctor may prescribed something or refer to a psychologist or therapist for further evaluation. If you are thinking about a possible learning disability, it often takes psychological testing to diagnose (which can be pretty expensive since many insurances won't cover it). But a psychologist could help you out there too.

There is no website that will help you to diagnose a disability, he needs to see his psychiatrist that diagnosed him with ADD or you need to call your state Division of Developmental Disabilities office. They can tell you where to go, in AZ we have a place called Magellan that will help with diagnosing mental conditions that is funded by the state.

You may also to watch for Bipolar disorder, because some people who have developed ADD can also have Bipolar diorder

Your local Health Dept. or Dept. of Social Services could help you, too.
