Where can i get my cats vaccinated and tested?

i have 3 cats, all of which need tests and shots. my vet has recommended i have them tested for bartonella, leukemia, aids, and vaccinated for distemper as well as rabies. i am looking for an alternative to a vet's office because unfortunately i don't have the amount of money they are asking for. if i only had one cat it would be a different story, and my local aspca doesn't offer these services. also, do you think any of these tests/vaccines are unnecessary and is there anything else i should be aware of?
thank you in advance for your help!

They are absolutely necessary in keeping your cats in good health. Vets offices are usually flexible with payments and they will be willing to help you out with a payment plan. Most vets take credit cards as well, this may be an option for you, you can finance the charges and lay off going out or shopping for unnecessary things. What about putting one of the kitties up for adoption in a good home to someone who can financially take care of one or more than one? I know you may not want to part with them, but they really do need their vaccinations and shots. I think you would be pretty heart broken if one passed away suddenly.

I had taken in a stray 7-8 week old kitten who had multiple problems, but my husband and I sacrificed certain luxuries to take care of his every need. He had fleas, worms, parasites, and unknown infections, but we had gotten his blood work done, and gave him his shots and he turned out great!

Try to sit down and work out a budget. Ask your vet for an itemized bill so you can sort out your finances, and remember they will be more than willing to work with you. Call around to different clinics and ask for prices- this will help too.

Good Luck- I wish all the best!

Where did you adopt them from? Do you know anything about their past history? If not, it's always better to get them tested. FIV and leukemia are very contagious between cats. Rabies is required in most states and distemper is recommended for multicat households, or if the cat is outdoors. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
Call the SPCA and see if they can recommend a vet that give discounted prices for vaccines.

You can get the Bordetella, Rabies, FELV and all other vaccines at a vets office.
