/Bereft/ of medical supplies, San Minimo was in /dire/ need of help and there was a /clear/ need for urgent action. There was a serious /lack/ of any kind of expertise and their educational system was virtually /non-existent/. With the /scarcity/ of food and /basic/ commodities, babies were being born /devoid/ of all hope and /lacking/ in fundumental human rights. Whenever was broke out, they suffered even greater hardship.
After each war, when the country needed completely restructing, the Government was /short/ of ideas. Survivors lived on /scraps/ of food, hardly a /drop/ of water and just crumbs of hope from aid agencies. They existed in /utter/ degradation, undernourished, underfed, running on /empty/, with more than enough dreams for the whole world. That was how life was in San Minimo before the revolution.
