Pregnancy test question...I'm confused...Please help? |
Ok, so I bought a cheap 8 dollar HPT from Rite Aid. When I tested, the result that came up was negative. A couple of minutes later I see a very very VERY faint positive line, which is barely visible. You have to look at it closely to see the positive line. I'm not sure if that is just the chemical line showing through because it is a cheap test. My question is, is it common for the cheap pregnancy tests' chemical line to show through on a negative result? Has this happened to you before? I couldn't see anything. Check again in the morning maybe by then your hcg levels would be high enough to read it. Good Luck! I also don't see anything. From what I've learned over the years about tests is they are all made at the same cost, its just the packaging (people that slap their brand on something) that raises the cost of the test. Most tests do this. It should have said so on the pack. You need to check the result within the time stated because after this you will see two lines even if it is negative at first. It is the chemicals in the test reacting with each other and creating the second line. It does not mean you are pregnant. The result you saw first was the real one. I did this a few times and after getting a negative result I saw later that another line had appeared (although faint) and got all exited so I did another test, but it was negative too. If you are pregnant the two lines will appear within the proper test time- they may be faint still though. I could not see anything in the picture but with my first pregnancy there was such a faint line I was about to throw the test away and a friend said let me see that. When you really looked you could see a very faint line and sure enough I was pregnant. I would really suggest taking another test in a couple of days to confirm on way or another because I was truly about the throw away my test because the line was so faint I thought it was just because of the cheap test as well. Hun, I cant see anything, maybe because the lighting in the picture. I cant see a line in the picture. If you see a line, you're probably pregnant. Retesting in the morning is the best thing to do. I cannot see a line but the picture is kinda see something like that if it isn't obvious, get another test that reads YES or NO. I'm sorry but I can't see anything!!! You are doing the right thing by taking another test - I hope you get your BFP!!! idk |
