What is there for me to do as a tourist in Trinidad?

I'm visiting your lovely islands soon and would like to know what is there for me to do as a tourist?

I mean now that I have been strictly informed that I'm not a Trinbagonian I was just wondering.

I mean the person who told me so may not have been around when my father had to leave me by my grandmother because of the coup, in 1970. That person may not know the pride as young boy I felt when we purchased the 2 Tri-Stars and call them we planes. I wonder if the person could remember how PSA use to be pack with people to see Police play Defense Force in a night game. What about the first and only night cricket match in the stadium? I was there, but was that person? How about when all ah town dig-up for months 'cause they putting down the salt water mains to out fire?

Maybe they could tell me about how I use to be in the Oval to see Clive Loyde lead the West Indies to win, after win, after win in Test Cricket, and yuh better be there before 5 am to get in. What about the sadness on the day Dr. Williams died? It rain for 3 days after that. Ah wonder if the person could remember we had to listen to Hasley win the race on a black and white TV 'cause TTT lose the picture. I wonder if that person was in the stadium for Live Aid and hear Billy Ocean sing?

But then again that shouldn't mean nothing to me because I living in the States so no longer am I a Trinbagonian. :-(

So please tell me a little about your country?

a little about trinidad......well firstly, what time of year are coming? the best time to visit our beautiful island is at carnival time. also there are lots of beautiful tourist destinations...there is maracas beach, there are lots of waterfalls, gasparee caves, pitch lake, the wild foul trust where u take a boat through a large mangrove where there are a diverse of birds and other creatures, if you are a hiker then trinidad is the perfect [lace for you.....i aslo have to tell u the bad....just a little warning.....the crime level in trinidad is very high

I dun talk about the one who shall remain nameless because he is a useless piece of shite. He in his one room hole somewhere in Sealots plotting world domination cuz he so damn miserable.

he, probably NEVER reach in d oval to see ah damn test match, never hadda wake up 3 in d morning, to get to d oval, whether WI winning or losing!

or had to take the bus 5:00 in d morning and go along d southern main road via curepe to get to work in POS cause dey were building the highway. or get stuck in ah bus on d highway, an never reach home until d next day cause the damn caroni river flood, and nothing cant pass thru!

or d ever classic, before dey build City Gate, have big azz man climbing on yuh shoulders to get in d bus to south on ah afternoon, cause if yuh miss that one, you might not get another for d next 2 - 3 hours.

and with all that, i still living in Trinidad. But he damn fass and outta place!!

well TS first of let me welcome you to our country- i should have really started off by apologising to you for your encounter with the 'chosen one' who was blessed with the gift and amaxing ability to open his mouth and fill the air with utter nonsensical comments that sound well just plain old dotish (dotish is a trini word eh incase you never hear it before ).........anywho's as a tourist all i can say is the local people real friendly so just come and talk to one of the locals and im sure of the locals will assist you in showing you the tourist what we the locals do ........have fun Mr. Tourist Man !!

Oh gosh thanks for the memory of hearing Billy Ocean sing in Live Aid. TS, from what l reading, it seems as though this person just out to antagonize people yes, you know that easy to do because the coward just have to sit down and type anonymously so don't even study he and his crap.
