I was told my two essays for the UC's were "grea and excellent" by multiple teachers and counselors. - I basically reused and filtered my UC personal statement for the USC application.

Possible major is some sort of business or economics, with the hope of eventually going into law.

(yes I know some of the schools don't have the major's i want, so political science is also an option as I am leaning toward law school after my undergrad degree.)

Things that I will say in my personal statement (This is especially for the privates)
- My Dad was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gherigs) this past summer
*Emphasis on how this has given me a greater appreciation for the time and life I have and that I need to make the most of it.

Sorry, but I'm so stressed about this.... Please give me your honest opinions.
Thanks.

Your resume sounds quite like mine, I have a bit better test scores and you have better extracurriculars & essays.
I'm applying to Stanford too, crossing the fingers. As you said, you never know.
I'm not an expert on the UCs or USC, but according to My God the College Guidebook, your CR and math scores are all in the upper half. You have to get into one, and probably more than one.
So I know this is a bit of an awful answer, but I'm trying to dilute my own worries by telling other people not to worry.
I'll just be glad when all this is over.
Good luck.
