Why do people think the "pull-out" method isn't effective?

This is by far from me bragging,but I've had sex with over 30 women in my lifetime,never once wore a condom,and used the pull out method everytime. Guess what? None of them ever got pregnant. Most of the younger girls would freak out a week later and buy 100 pregnancy tests and I assured each one that they weren't pregnant and they werent. I just know these things. I'm married now(yes,I was tested before) and got my wife pregnant on the first try,so I know I'm fertile.

The ones that say it isn't effective,are the ones that got pregnant because their bf/husband/one nighter/strange guy blew his load,THEN pulled out. It's the other way around,pull out way ahead and then blow. Jeez.

Another thing,for the single parents with kids blaming it all on the guy for not pulling out in time,you should have made him wear a condom. I've even asked girls if they wanted me to wear one and none of them did. Just too easy!

Oh,and please refrain from the STD/AIDS comments,I know how dumb it is to have unprotected sex.

You're somewhat correct. The pull-out method is actually quite effective.. but not relative to other forms of birth control such as the pill or condoms.

My husband and I did the pull out method for 5 years and I was not on bc and never got pregnant. I thought I couldn't get pregnant so we decided to just throw caution to the wind and now we have a 4 and a half month old little girl. I actually think the pull out method is pretty effective. It has been in my experience anyway.

That's nice that it didn't happen for you, but you aren't every guy on the planet. Therefore you aren't representative of the population, sorry. Please don't post this kind of thing being impressionable youths come here looking for sex information - they should know that what you posted is WRONG and you can ABSOLUTELY get pregnant using the pull out method.

Here is why you didn't or believe you didn't get them pregnant
They either weren't OVULATING at the time you had sex ,they were on some form of birth control that you didn't know about or they did get pregnant by you and decided not to include you in the life of your child.

Pull out is NOT effective because even PRE C U M can get a woman pregnant if she is OVULATING

Well me and my now hubby of 2 years, had been using the pull out method for 8 years! Not once got pregnant or had a pregnancy scare. I am now pregnant after actually trying. I guess everyone is different because I have heard of women getting pregnant using the pull out method. I guess we can consider ourselves lucky.

My husband and I used this for years also. It's a bit risky, but we were always ready to handle the consequences. It's not something you do with the piece you picked up at the bar.

It's got A LOT to do with how much control the man has. With young, dumb and full of -you know- comes a hair trigger.

The really really dumb thing was the STD and AIDS risk, but you're past it.

Just because it didn't happen to you, doesn't mean anything. Its LUCK that those girls didn't get pregnant. You still have precum, so you can still get pregnant. So what that it didn't happen to you, does it mean you have to rant about it? YES, it happens. Lots of people don't pull out and don't end up pregnant, its all luck my friend, all luck!

Yes it worked most of the time, but it only takes one time to get someone pregnant. Btw, my hubby and I are both very fertile.

a lot of the time the fluid the comes out before the "load" (per-***) has sperm in it and there is a chance that a girl could get pregnant from this. it has been effective for me but my little sister did the same method and got pregnant it just depends on the guy and the girl

Because it's not effective! Perhaps it works for you, and maybe you have low motility issues (or maybe it's not your kid or they all got abortions because they didn't want your child). Even Margaret Mead agrees, coitus interruptus isn't effective.

most men cant admit if they have ejaculated in the woman. my husband used the pull out method alot.. guess wut. im not pregnant. some men can control it better than others. when the method doesnt work it means the man cant admit they dint pull out fast enough.

I can't believe you found 30 women (although I imagine it was more like 3) to sleep with you. The pullout method is by far the least effective method of birth control! And no I didn't get pregnant from the pullout method. Get over yourself.

Well I think it's ineffective because of all the people I know who depended on that method who are now parents of children who are essentially accidents.

you may not have gotten them pregnant because they were not ovulating. also pre-ejaculation has sperm in it. so no it is not effective

1. It sometimes takes women a little longer to conceive than just having sex once or twice. It can take upto a year for someone to fall pregnant even when having sex everyday. Maybe they were just lucky.

2. Pre-ejaculation, every man has this and every man does it when they're having sex. This has semen/sperm in it and it can get you pregnant!

3. I fell pregnant with my first baby, using the pull out method. I miscarried, but i know loads of people who've used this ineffective method and have had full term babies from it.

No offense meant my man, but, that is the dumbest way to avoid pregnancy pullout method my work once in a while but you almost always have a little pre-ejaculate at the moment of climax. You have "dodged a bullet" so far but you are heading down the wrong direction if you keep that up. Get smart while you have the chance. Your gonna either be a dad when you aren't ready or your gonna get Ghonna-herpa-syphlaids if you don't get smart.

Been using that method for freakin years... never once a pregnancy scare.. i completely agree with you.
