How likely am I to get into USC?

I go to a private school in the midwest, My GPA is 3.57 unweighted, with 3 AP's

I have had 2 internships over 2 summers

I took a class over the summer at UCLA with an A- grade

32 on my ACT's

800 hours of community service

Captain of my rowing team since Junior year, been on the team since 8th grade

Submitted to multiple film festivals, including Sundance

Not applying for financial aid

Many other people with better GPA's and/or test scores are applying from my school, I know they won't take all of us, (maybe they won't take any of us) so I was wondering what my chances are, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I should have mentioned this above, out of the 3 AP's, I have taken 2, and received 4's on both, the other is scheduled for after I would be accepted or denied.

(1) It depends on you final grades in your AP classes and what you get on your AP Exams. You probably need to score a 3 to 5 on the exam.

(2) If you dont get at least a 3 on your exams, due to your GPA, I say that you dont get in. Most people accepted have a 3.8 to a 4.0 GPA.

Your key in may be rowing. Rowing is not a scholarship sport, and colleges are always hungry to get good rowers. Talk to the rowing coach (send an email first) but be sure you are ready to take on a Div I sport and have the creds to back it. If you can hack it your freshman year then you are into the school and nothing says you have to continue rowing.

Now, while your GPA isn't the absolute top, you have the record to sustain you academically at USC ... and I assume you can pay the tuition. Don't for a minute think that the rowing coach doesn't have influence in the admissions office.

Stanford wanted my friend's son - a good rower - so badly that the president of the university escorted him around campus!!!

Visit the college right away and ask to meet with the rowing coach (assuming you are a senior).
