Could donating too much Plasma wreck your blood and make you unable to donate ever?

I don't know much about donating Plasma! So, I'm trying to understand this situation. I'm trying to figure out a "blood conditions" that would disqualify someone from donating plasma? I'm not sure what the "blood condition" is? They only said "blood condition" no name. I know this person was using plasma donating as their income. They had been donating 2 times a week for the past 6 months or longer. I was told 3rd party that is was very likely from donating too ofter. What could this be called. I've tried researching and came up with nothing. I'm looking for a name or explanation. I almost positive they're not talking about AIDS, Hepatitis, or anything like that. Could this be caused by going the maximum times aloud. This "condition" has caused this person never donate again. When you answer, keep in mind that this was not the first time this person has donated. They have been doing it for at the very least 6 month to a year, may be longer. So, all of the test that they do when you first start to donate had all ready been done. I'm trying to find out what this could possibly be. Mainly because this person didn't care enough to even remember what the called the condition was called or bring literature home. There is a big possibility they just didn't understand an was to embarrassed to ask questions. I'm concerned because this person does not take care of their self. (I'm not sure if this could have anything to do with anything but I've also noticed over the past few years this person doesn't seem to be at the same mental state that they were even 10 years ago. A once normal adult now carries on conversations and behaves like a 12 year old. That's probably a totally different issue in its self! But' just in case!) I just want to try and figure this out. It could be very serious and we wouldn't.I need to make sure they get any treatment or medication needed. Please help!!

Not that I know of. The human body is constantly producing new plasma proteins, so his body would replace everything that he lost within a fairly short time.

I very much doubt that your friend was told that he had a blood condition but "can't remember what it was." It's more likely that he knows exactly why he was disqualified and doesn't want to tell you.

You probably already looked at this, but if you haven't, the website with the American Red Cross guidelines for disqualifying donations is below.
