What are some books about/set in the 1960's/70's and the psychedelic movement?

I'll even settle for the 50's. I recently got into these kinds of books. I've read On the Road by Jack Kerouac, Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey. I really liked these books and anything by them or about them or similar to them would be great. Any suggestions? Any of your favorites that you'd recommend would be cool, too.

Though it's entirely different, you may enjoy Sometimes a Great Notion by Ken Kesey. It's a really good book.

A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess may be another one you will appreciate.

You might also like The Bonfire of the Vanities by Tom Wolfe.

There is also Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut.

BTW: For fun I thought I'd throw in the rather drug-laden soap opera novel: The Valley of the Dolls by Jacqueline Susann. If you read about it, you'll find it was wildly successful in the 1960s and was the precursor to those, rather glitzy, novels about the rich and famous today.
