How can I overcome this roadblock?

I recently dropped down to 240 lbs. from 262 lbs. over the past two months. The problem is I seem to have hit a roadblock as far as my weight loss is concerned. I set a goal to get down to 210 lbs. Ironically, I started hitting the gym real hard around this same time 2 years ago and I got down to 213 by the time May rolled around. The only problem is it seems like I'm way off of the pace I had going in 2007. What am I doing wrong. My workout schedule is as follows:

Monday-Chest/Abs
Tuesday-Legs
Wednesday-Back/Abs
Thursday-Cardio (optional day off)
Friday-Arms/Shoulders/Abs
Saturday-Cardio (optional day off)
Sunday-Cardio (optional day off)

On my cardio days I run on the treadmill for 30-45 minutes. I have drastically changed my diet since the new year started but I was already 240 by then (I started training again in November and quickly lost 22 lbs). In the mornings I sometimes have coffee, but I stopped using cream and sugar and started drinking it black. I have been eating grapes, mandarin oranges, yogurt, and pineapples for snacks. I have sworn off junk food (I used to like to eat at Burger King a lot). I had a problem with drinking Kool-Aid and other sugary drinks so now I only have one small cup along with my dinner. I have drastically picked up the intesity of my weightlifting so what is wrong with me? Am I just adding muscle to my frame or what? I don't feel like I look bad and I ran the mile and a half for my physical training test in 11:25 so I though that I was in pretty good shape. I just want to know why the pounds stopped coming off.

working out and eating healthy are huge. i'm glad to see that you have cut bad foods from your diet. i really think that you are gaining muscle weight which is totally normal and healthy. remember, muscle weighs more that fat. so for all the fat that you are losing by cutting out junk food, you are toning those areas up with the work out. just make sure to keep up the cardio! i would encourage you to take off thursdays, just as a "mid-week" break, and then aim for routine cardio on saturday and sunday. you can also tweak your weekly routine every 2 weeks or so, so you don't get your body used to the workout, thus making your muscles have to work harder. great work!

In order to properly metabolize fat you need the proper ration of essential fatty acids, go buy udos oil 3-6-9 supplement. I am a personal trainer and reccomended this to a lot of people in your situation and it always works as long as they continue their routine. http://www.udoerasmus.com/products/oil_b...

I'm not a pro, but, I think your getting to many carbs with the fruit, it's too much sugar, you would have to counter act the carbs with a protein. apple and cheese, pineapple with cottage cheese, etc.

Same has happened with me you are probably adding muscle and losing fat at a similar rate. The reason your gains have slowed down a bit is your body is adapting to your workout. You can't be too predictable your body is smarter than you think. It's called a plateau and it's very common. My advice would be to change your workouts to 3 days of full body workouts for the next couple of weeks. That way each part is getting hit 3 times a week as opposed to just one. It'll catch your body off-guard and you should see results pick up a bit. Once it slows down again switch it back to what you have now.
