Hi i need glasses i think?

hi my school told me to get an eye test asap as i couldent see the board well today and i told my perants and thay say well me or your dad cant take you to get your eyes checked evan the school told them and the school even said i may need glasses and a hearing aid so best to have both eyes checked and hearing test done but my mum and dad said can i have it done by my self any help is welcome thanks

If your School Says you need a eye exam you should get one done. Your insurance might cover it and if not there are places that can help you if you cant afford it. Talk to your school they might know where in your area. Most retail opticals are fairly cheap and are the same quality. If you cant see you will not be able to do well in school it is important to get it checked out.

There are a lot of places that have those eye charts, try those at any eyeglasses shop and they would probably even test you for free.

I know at Costco's (not sure if you are member) their eye dept have those eye charts you can run a quick test, if they're not busy they can test you for free.

Schools may have hearing tests for you as well, but you could also ask Walgreen's or whatever pharmacy since I think some have some basic machines to test your hearing.

If you're unable to see the board, you really need to get glasses because you could be missing out so many things. Also, squinting a lot causes headaches and are one of the factors why some people get migraines.

If your mum and dad can't help you sort your vision problems right now can you ask your teacher to move you to the front of the class so that you'll be as near as you can be? Your eyesight will likely get worse but this will help now and hopefully in the future your parents will be able to help you.

I don't know how it works but I know that if you are in the UK that Specsavers do eyetests and hearing aids. If you are a student perhaps you could go in to your local store and ask them what help you can get.

If you cant see well try to speak with your mom. Tell her that you can see anything or you need it. The eyes test you must take it, even people that can see may take it to see how it is going.
