Does anyone start a second semester in school soon, and does your schedule change?


Next Thursday I start my second semester. This means I switch classes and no more PE class, which makes me kind of happy and kind of sad, because this semester I can do nothing physical, because they are all regular classes. I have Office Aid, Reading, and Test Strategies this semester coming up and it actually sounds really boring. I am kind of mad since I won't be able to move or do anything physical. Should PE be year round?

Here's my Schedule:

1st Period: English (all year)
2nd Period: Social Studies (all year)
3rd Period: Office Aid (coming semester)
4th Period: Health (until 4th nine weeks)
5th Period: Test Strategies (coming semester)
6th Period: Lunch
7th Period: Reading (coming semester, was my PE period)
8th Period: Science (all year)
9th Period: Math (all year)

Ahh yesss changing classes on Monday!!!

1st- Science- All Year
2nd- Algebra- All Year
3rd- Gym- Just this next 9 weeks
4th- History-All Year
5th- Lunch
6th- Study Hall
7th- Consumer Math (its like a life class.. kinda complicated) - Just this 9 weeks...
8th- English- All Year

This will be hard... I don't want to go to gym that early in the morning!!! Ahhhh! Lol good luck! =]

My school is pretty boring but we have rotations and they change every 6 weeks. They include....

gym and study hall
art and tech ed
gym and computers
graphic arts and FCS
latin and gym
german and gym

So we have a lot of gym but it is kind of spread out.
My scheldule is

Period 1: Ancient History
Period 2: Science
Period 3: English
Period 4: Band
Lunch
Period 5: Reading
Period 6: Math
Period 7: Rotation (List above)
Period 8: Rotation (List above)

my 2nd semester starts at the end of next week and in my school you have 4 classes per semester unless you have classes that are only a quarter or every other day. My new schedule is...

Mod 1: French 2
Mod 2: H Trig
Mod 3: H world History
Mod 4: Economics(3rd quarter)+ World Geography (4th quarter)

each class is 90min long and you have 2 days worth of homework a day

My second semester starts Tuesday since school was cancelled today and exams are moved to monday..same schedule though..on the subject of PE i think that it is important but if you need certain classes, you have to make sacrifices
My schedule:
1st period: Algebra 2
2nd period: American Lit
3rd period: AP US History
4th period: Chemistry
5th period: lunch :)
6th period: Band woohoo
7th period: Career Mentoring
our classes are one hour, five minutes each with 30 min lunch

Nope. Same shedule ALL year long. We have Terms not semesters. I am in French immersion.

Day 1:

Block A : English
Block B : Social Studies (In French)
Block C : Drama (Elective)
Block D : Langue Seconde (French, immersion)

Day 2:

Block E : PE
Block F : Science (In French)
Block G : Art (Elective)
Block H: Math (In French)

Wed my new semester starts. [Monday we don't have school and tuesday we don't either].


1st Period: Social Studies
2nd Period: English
3rd Period: Gym, Orchestra, and Study Hall
4th Period: Science
5th Period: Lunch
6th Period: Study Hall
7th Period: Algebra
8th Period: French

we switched after christmas break,
and dang you have 9 hours?
we only have 6!

this is my schedule ( lol its fun to post)

1st hour: geometry
2nd hour: Crafts
3rd hour: Science
4th hour: Drama
5th hour: English
6th hour: History

not this coming week but the next week I switch semesters. and only one class on my schedule changes and that is my last hour it changes from psychology to teaching standards

i end my first semester classes and begin my second semester ones the 24th
