AM I PREGO , IM SOO CONFUSED?

my period is due friday the 23rd..so yesterday i went and bought rite aid brand tests...i took one yesterday afternoon, which turned to be what i thought a faint plus sign.....sooo i took another one few hours later and what looks like it again, maybe a shade lighter....but who knows maybe its evap lines, but they sorta looks blue to me...but todayyy i got an ept digital and it said not pregnant... im soo confused....anyone get a positive than negativer??

take it AFTER your period is due.

Who knows, the rite aid brand may be more sensitive to HCG hormone

compared to EPT test. I found that the dollar store Pregnancy test

was more sensitive then the EPT TEST! Save more money that way.


Anyway, it'll be more accurate when you miss you period.

If your period isn't due until the 23rd then it's too early to test. The earliest you can test is four days before your period, with en early result test...and even then it's not always accurate yet. You'll run the risk of getting a false negative. I'd wait it out and then test again. Good luck! :)


Just wanted to add, if the line is more gray, it's probably an evap. In my experience with blue dye tests, I always got a very, very faint line. But it was always more gray. When it's positive, it's definitely blue. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But seeing as it's still so early, you've still got a great chance of getting your positive result. Good luck!!!! :)

Well i would say that even if its faint you more than likely are..just because the reason for the lines to show up you would have to have the pregnancy hormone in your system....hgc...but the one that actually told you no could be that you are too soon for that one to show..if you have any type of the hormone in your system the lines will show up faint or full.....i would just say to make a doc appointment and have them do it then you will know for sure...congrats if you are and its what you want if not good luck anyways....and it wouldnt be that the baby would be "too small" to tell....its either you are or not...and its all on that hormone hgc....so...if nothing else you can call and talk to an obgyn nurse...she will tell you to the best of her knowledge what to do...again good luck...

Yes that happens with the Pregnancy tests..I say if you didnt get your period on the 23rd.. take a test if it came up negative wait for a week and try again using a different store brand..If still you're late i say go for a blood test..Most of women might be pregnant but when they try HPT it comes up negative..i had a friend of mine who didnt know she was pregnant till she was 8 weeks..she had back pain so she tried and HPT and it came up negative so i say they're not always accurate..

The digital tests are only half as sensitive as the early result. The early result tests, like first response, measure 25 units (sometimes as low as 12 units) of hcg, whereas the digital tests only measure down to 50 units. If I were you, I would take another rite aid test tomorrow, or better yet, get a first response early result test and the colour will probably be more definite.

wait til after the 23rd and use the digital again, for a more positve result wait two weeks after u period.

Well not me but I would wait awhile and take a different test with a different brand. Maybe you are but the baby is too small to tell! Best of Luck!
