I stepped on earring what can happen to me?

i stepped on a random piercing earring on the floor and im really scared i might get aids or any other disease. my foot bled a little from the prick but it didnt stay in. do i need to get to a place for testing. im really scared. earring was sitting there for hours.

If it is that scary to you, I would go to your doctor or an urgent care facility and tell them about the situation.

There has to be a disease present on the earring for you to get a disease like AIDS, but I do not know how long it can live outside of a human body.

The most you might need is a tetanus shot for getting pierced with metal.

You won't get AIDS, because that needs pretty direct bodily fluid to bodily fluid contact. It can't survive in the open for hours. Plus, earrings usually don't have contact with body fluids (the hole in the ear is skin). Now, if the earring were all bloody and it completely pierced your foot, that would be a different story.

If it's a little puncture wound, then clean it with some neosporin or alcohol and do not put a bandaid on it. It needs to breathe. If it's a rather large puncture wound, then call you doctor to check on a tetnus vaccine.

Hashahahah dont be silly. You cant get aids unless that person had aids.. which is unlikly, the most you could get is an infection or tetnous.. (spelling) Check it out with the doctor
