Why would a guy get pissed if I ask him to take an STD/AIDS test before we have sex?

Possibly he's afraid of what the test results would show. You were very smart. I do the same thing and if a guy got mad I would definitely not keep seeing him.

if you both were getting hot and heavy and out of the blue you ask him i think you need to go get tested yes i would be pissed off too.
but if you were having a casual conversation and STDS came up and you said i think we should be tested before we have sex and he got mad it's because he probably has something and he doesn't want you to know or he is afraid to find out weather or not he has something better be safe than sorry

well aids is a bit full on but asking him to get checked out is the right thing to do :)
i think i would take it the wrong way though if some one said blunty they want me checked for aids its just a little in your face i think you might have something.
where as if you say i would like you to get checked out before anythign and that you will do the same that way its you playing safe :)

well, it depends on how you ask him. For instance if you say that you would like to get tested together so that way you both know your safe then he'll probably be fine with it (unless he has something to hide). But if you demand that he go get tested alone, then that would be pretty insulting and personally that would be the last time you would see me.

My only guess would be that maybe he would take it offensive. Or maybe he just thought you were more trustworthy of him.
Although, in my opinion you can never be too safe when it comes to that. And i don't see anything wrong with it.

I dont think he (or anyone else) should be pizzed by it-you are within your rights to ask and it makes sense - He may feel that you dont trust him when he says that hes only had safe sex,or something-
or he may be ignorant of the std risks-

Not a sensible guy, nope. If you both have them together, it might be easier for him to go through with it, and also convinces him that you're clean too.

He either thinks you think he has an STD/STI. Or he does have one and doesn't want you not have sex with him because of it.
If he doesn't want to go through with it, then find someone else.
