Okay... so I will put down all my info and stuff and I want you to tell me if you think I can get into these schools..(I know that this is not all of what counts, but please look anyways)

I was told my two essays for the UC's were "great and excellent" by multiple teachers and counselors. - I basically reused and filtered my UC personal statement for the USC application.

Possible major is some sort of business or economics, evetually leading to law school.

Things said in my essays
- My Dad was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gherigs) this past summer
- My leadership awards and how it has helped and will continue to help shape me.
*Emphasis on how this has given me a greater appreciation for the time and life I have and that I need to make the most of it.

Sorry, but I'm so stressed about this.... Please give me your honest opinions.

My gpa is out of the standard 4.0 scale. I have yet to receive a B in high school!

good gpa. ok sats. i'm assuming you're instate which helps. your strong character traits should shine through your essays which will be a boost. however, i'm not sure if the uc's, with their huge applicant pool, pay much attention to much more than just the numbers. i'd imagine that the toughest majors to apply to the UC's are science & engineering majors so business and economics shouldn't be too competitive (except for ucla)

what exactly is your gpa out of?
would the 4.1 be similar to a 3.1? as in mostly b's?

You sound very well prepared. Your grades seem excellent, you play a lot of sports, and you have a lot of extra curricular activities. Your essay also sounds personal, but I think collages will like how you've incorporated your personal life into ways you can achieve in the future. Long story short I think you have a great chance getting into the college of your choice.
