Possible false positive?

Ok so Im a few days late on my period and I think I may be pregnant I took a home pregnancy test and there was the faintest line in the positive box ( like you have to tilt it under the light to even see it) It was a cheap rite aid early pregnancy test so do you think this means its positive or maybe i can just see where the positive line is supposed to be.

I think it's positive. This happened to me before. The line was super faint But.....as you are probably already thinking of doing....go and get another one....maybe a better brand.....do it first thing in the morning too........hey good luck.

My first positive was very faint, and I wan't even sure it was there. I bet yours is positive. What I did was have someone I KNOW wasn't pregnant so I could tell the difference. IF you can see a little line on that one too they could be bad tests. If there isn't then I think your pregnant. Try taking another test first thing in the morning too.

That happened to me when I first thought I was pregnant... the line was there but very faint....I would recommend either waiting a couple of days and taking another one or going to a doctor... if you normally have regular periods and this one is abnormal you just might be pregnant... so just give it maybe a lil more time... That is what I did

The false positive do happen it happen to me with my second kid. I finally had to go to the doctors to take a blood test.

Take another test. I took three cheap pregnancy test and they all came negative. A week later I bought first response and found out I was pregnant

Take another test in a few days, If you seen a line for the positive, then your pregnant.

I once had a test do that to me too,turns out i wasnt pregnant :(

it is very not likely to have a false positive

To be sure just take another test. There are clinics where you can go and take one for free.
