How to grade papers faster?

Hi, I'm a Teacher's Aid and it took me a week to grade this test; but it only took the teacher 1/2 an hour! (I'm a student) How does she grade it fast? And how do I grade it faster?

I would agree with Katie. When I am grading, I always do one page at a time. That way I can memorize the answers and go through them quickly. Time is so precious that you need to learn to do things quickly. Do all of page 1 then move to the second and so on.

You should make an answer key! That way you easily can see what answers are and arent correct! Also you could have a calculator handy to see what the grade is a little quicker than calculating in your head....you probley already knew this, but you will eventually get the hang of it and be grading as fast (or faster ) than the actual teacher!!!!

if the teacher made the test then she knew all the answers--best way to do it is memorize the answers so you can grade faster

Memorize the answers. If there are multiple pages, memorize the first page, grade them all, then the second, and so on.
