HELP!!! i found gum in my ice cream!!!!!?

ok i just got done eating dinner! i got out a pint of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream! i got to the bottom of it and i bit into something hard and i didnt know what it was so i asked my fiance and he smelt it and it smelled like a minty gum!!!! ohh i got so sick!!! i dont know what i should do! i am freakin out! which isnt good cause i ahve hypertension already! i am 20 years old!!!! what should i do! should i have the gum tested, can i go and get tested to see if i got whatever the person could have had(aids, hep c, etc.) HELP

Hmmm, that is really strange. But check the ingredients because in some ice creams they do put an ingredient labeled xanath gum, but i do not think it would be minty.

If I were you I would contact that ice cream maker, there are usually question and comment numbers somewhere on the box, and complain!

but you have nothing serious to worry about, it wont hurt you in any way. it is just gross more than anything.
