Help!!!!!!!!! I found gum in my ice cream!!!?

ok i just got done eating dinner! i got out a pint of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream! i got to the bottom of it and i bit into something hard and i didnt know what it was so i asked my fiance and he smelt it and it smelled like a minty gum!!!! ohh i got so sick!!! i dont know what i should do! i am freakin out! which isnt good cause i ahve hypertension already! i am 20 years old!!!! what should i do! should i have the gum tested, can i go and get tested to see if i got whatever the person could have had(aids, hep c, etc.) HELP

i am just worried about my health! i dont want to catch any thing! i mean i know its not likely but hey you can get aids by sitting on a toilet seat!!! i just want to be ok

haha calm down, im sure your going to be fine .. i doubt the person had aids or herpes .. but what you need to do is call or contact the company with udder disappointment and discust... and if you are really that nervous, get tested... but i dont think your gonna die

Calm down, you're gonna be fine That person most likely did not have aids or herpes. It is a good idea if you went to get a check up or maybe get tested, but i highly doubt that you obtained whatever that person had. The ice cream was probably made at a company that makes other flavors of ice cream. There was a place near where I live that used to make bubble gum ice cream and it actually had pieces of gum in it, so one might have just dropped in by accident on the same line.

You could call the company and just ask them, they might send you a coupon for a free one next time.

Also, the odds of getting AIDS from a toilet seat is sooooooo low.

AIDS and Hepatitis C cannot be spread through spit. Just bodily fluids, such as semen or blood.

You should definitely contact the company & tell them about your experience.

You could get tested, but I don't think it's really necessary. Though bacteria do survive freezing temperatures, they wouldn't be able to do anything until they'd defrosted. Just a short bite's not enough time to become active & spread. I take gum out of random peoples mouths & eat it [yeah I know, gross] all the time, & I'm perfectly fine.

You have nothing to worry about, most things dont survive long in cold temperatures. But you have to call the number on the ice cream container and report it. Pretty much someone on the sorting line did not report a loss of gum, because gum is not allowed in a food process plant.

well i dont think any bactiria cou;lld have survived at that low of a temperature and a virus cant last that long outside of the human body so you should be fine but you deffinatley can sue if you want...wow im sorry thats nasty

its almost impossible for you to get anything through that gum if it happened to have something.you should file a complaint with the company though
