Can anyone give me a rough diagnose?

Granted, i know this isn't a medical site, but i think I'd like to hear from a few more people to see if this is serious or not. A few people have been suggesting that I'm depressed (mainly, family) and whilst i believed this a year ago, i don't think so anymore. I think it was typical teenage angst issues. Anywho, I've recently developed chronic sleeping issues, mainly I've been sleeping like 5 hours a day for 2 weeks. It's not like i lay in bed and can't sleep, i just have a lot on my mind and prefer thinking about them some more. I also have (from what they say) low self esteem, but i think I'm just being honest. I know I'm ugly since I've gotten rejected by girls all the time for other guys. I know I'm stupid since i fail at just about any academic test ever administered. I know I'm annoying, it's just obvious. I also have been losing vast amounts of weight, but it's not like I'm starving myself or anything, I'm just never hungry anymore. People tell me i have a morbid outlook on life, but again i chalk that up to honesty. Example, we were doing an AIDS lesson and i just said what everyone else wanted to say "We're all gonna die one day, have a bit o' fun before ya do!" I get rejected by girls all the time so i believe I'm going to be alone for the rest of my life. There's more, but i think that's enough?

Well that's a tough one. It sounds like to me, you just have a lot of self esteem issues. Bi-polar people often have very low self-esteem, but from what you've written, I don't see bi-polar. So I think it just sounds like depression. Perhaps you want to see your doctor so he can get you some medication....maybe go see a counselor to help raise your self-esteem. So cheer up, things will get better for you!

I'm not a doctor, but I would say depression related to low self esteem issues. I think a counselor could help.
