I was diagnosed with gonorrhea, is it possible that my doctor can all and say I have aids a few days after? |
I went to the doctor because my stomach was in pain and they ran tests and said I had gonorrhea. I was mad b/c before I left they told me everything was fine and that I just had a virul infection, and then I get a call 3 days later an she says I have an STD! Is it possible for them to call me again and tell me I have AIDS? I am scared! Your doctor must have ran some tests on you before you left the office. These results did not come in until after the laboratory did the tests. No, your doctor did not check you for aids and if you want to know if you have other STD's you will more than likely require further testing. I don't know about where you live, but where I live the doctor must legally tell you he is testing you for aids or you need to ask to be tested for it before they can do the test. It may be different in your country. I think it is a good idea for you to get checked for aids, if not through your doctor through a free clinic anonymously.
