Absolutely

Absolutely. And other restrictions as well. If Mommy & Daddy are giving you an allowance, they have the right to dictate the conditions of how you spend it. Otherwise, go earn your own money. If you are spending taxpayer dollars (MY money), it's MY "allowance" to you. I get a say on the terms and conditions under which you get it. If you are taking aid in order to get your feet back under yourself, drugs, booze, pets, cable TV, Lotto, etc. should not be part of the picture. What a person making their own way chooses to spend the money they EARN on is their business. The people I have known that have used government programs or assistance have been focused and eager to do everything they can with no wasted effort to wean themselves from it. Interestingly enough, they are all in favor of drug testing for gov't aid too.

Yes, every person in America who is living from the work of others should have to pass a drug test. Employers do it in order for a person to have or keep a job so why not impose the same for the freeloaders. I know this would apply to all... the good people who deserve help, but those will not be bothered by it anyway.

If you can afford drugs you probably don't need financial aid and I'm a liberal.
