im 14 and i don't want to tell my mom im having symtoms of an infection so i wanted to buy some vagisil and test myself do i have to be older to buy it?And also where do you find it in your local store do you have to the actual counter where you request meds. or can you just get it in the first aid and meds. area?

Yeast infections aren't STDs so, I would talk to your mother. I had to talk to my grandmother about a yeast infection when I was eleven. That actually wasn't that bad. You could buy something at Wal-Mart, but your doctor can also give you something without doing an exam. Seriously, my grandmother just called my doctor and she prescribed a cream, and I was the only one who ever saw the infection.

you should really go see a doctor if this is your first infection. they will really make sure its a yeast infection and not something bacterial. you don't have to be sexually active to get a yest infection so your mom can't accuse you of that.
