What more can I do to get him back in my life?

Okay. Me and my ex would have been together for 2 years this May 5th. We broke up on Valentines day. We broke up because he got pissed every time I wanted to go hang out with my friends, by myself. Well, see I have cheated on him multiple times and thats why he would get pissed off when I wanted to go hang out with friends by myself because he didn't trust me.

Anyways, I know I've f*cked up plenty of times. Well, I have been talking to him again lately and we are probably going to get back together. But he is not for sure if he wants to get back with me because he is scared I will hurt him again which I totally understand! Anyways, I have done and said so much to him to try and show him I don't want to screw him over this time. I actually want a relationship with him. An honest, faithful relationship with him.

I went yesterday and got an std/hiv/aids test. I also have bipolar and I HATE taking my meds for it. Well, he thinks my bipolar will ruin our relationship so I went and got my pills again yesterday. I also talked to my doctor (He's been my doctor for a while and he knows my history with my bipolar and me hating taking the meds.) and he asked why I want to get back on them. I told him why and he said he could set me up with a counselor. I even told Justin (my ex) that we could go to counseling and he said he would go. Then last night he told me he loved me. I looked at him because it shocked me he said that and I said, I love you too and he said I just don't want to get hurt.

How can I prove to him I don't want to hurt him again? Do I just need to let time go on and hopefully time heal us? How can I earn my trust back? I know I have alot to work to do and I'm willing to absolutely ANYTHING.

It sounds as though your on the right track and as long as you continue taking care of yourself, he will start gaining trust in you. Do not be surprised if he is always a little protective of his emotions, but he will soon open his heart to you. The key here, is you. You have to like yourself and take care of yourself, before someone else can love you. Good luck.

you have to prove to YOU that you will not hurt people again. He is right...........If I were him I would never, ever be with you again. Go and get a life, see a doctor, pray and become a good person, decent, healthy one.

time may heal it just wait it out

I can't much blame him. I think I would do the same thing is his situation. There comes a point at which you do not want to be disappointed or hurt anymore, and he has reached that point. The only way you are going to get him back is to play master-slave. Him being the master and you being the slave. If that is not included in your ANYTHING, then forget it.

nothing i think it mite be time for u to move on with ur life uv to much to get sorted im also bipola on lithium and mirtazapine and u will know u need to get them meds in ur systam before you make any big decisions! saying that tho i can totally understand him ive been in his position with my partner cheating on me multiple times when ive been in jail and it huts sweethart sat in a 12 x 8 cell KNOWING what the love of your life is up to and i tell u it hurts like nowt iv felt before i was constantly wiv that sick stomachy turning feeling but how certain are u he aint been up to nowt? he aint gunna tell u now is he and make u even as it were at the end of the day the "i dont wanna get hurt"xcuse is **** if he loved and repected u he would want to work at the relationship and put the past were it belongs in the past a talk it thru and if he makes u beg to get with him he aint worth poop!
