3 positive pregnancy test & 1 Negative?

I missed my period for 3 days now... took a pregancy test on Monday night and there was 2 lines but one of the lines were very light. I then decided to take another this morning and it was still the same very light but noticeble. This morning when i woke up to use the bathroom i saw some spotting which is brownish blood. after that i had really bad cramping that it hurts so much which started to locate to my right side so i decided to go to the ER. once in the ER the doctor did a pelvic exam and found no blood so he took a pregnancy test which he told me that their pregnancy test are the best but then come to find out it was negative and he told me that the cramping might just be due to PMS.. and i might be having my period soon... dissapointed so i stoped at Rite Aid and bought another pack of pregnancy test... right when i got home i took another test and there was 2 lines again but 1 is very faint but noticeble... Am I pregnant or is the Doctor rite and Im just gonna start my period??? The first 2 pregnancy test that i took was First Response and the last test was EPT... can some one help me please... Going to see my PCP tomorrow... hope for the best...

you are pregnant. the doctors tests are just not as sensitive

Your pg, wait a week and test again, Or tell your doc your getting a + at home and you would like a blood test.

Oh and I took a clear blue digital and it said negative then I took a First Response same day and I had a very very faint line.

HPT are the same as the dr's tests unless they did a blood test which is more accurate. If you are getting any 2nd line its a positive. Maybe the Dr made a mistake? Wait a week and try again.

Those were positive tests. The doctor's use great tests that ARE accurate and great BUT they need more hormone to detect pregnancy. I would go back to your doctor and get a blood test.

I have never heard about this happening. It is very strange. I suggest waiting a week and if you still do not get your period take another pregnancy test.

i used EPT when i got my positive. the hospital claims their tests are accurate but truth is, if you just became pregnant it would be hard to detect the hormone with any kind of urine test except a blood pg test. if you saw two lines i wouldn't doubt it...congratulations!!!!...there is never false positives only false negatives...so regardless of what their test said, the ones you took came back positive. i dont wanna get your hopes up but be on the lookout for signs of a miscarriage. a lot of miscarriages start this way with a positive and slight bleeding and then it takes time for the actual passing to occurr. nothing is 100% guaranteed, go to your pcp and tell them you want a blood pg test.
