Any adults with Central Auditory Processing? Did you find any help for it? |
I'm scheduled for a central auditory function test and wondering if as an adult its pointless to even go through with this. I have been diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome. I also am slightly hearing impaired and have done better since getting hearing aids. I told my audiologist about there seeming to be a delay as my brain translates sounds into meanings. Sometimes I hear people just fine, but it sounds like gibberish or a foreign language. Yes. Anything recommended is worth trying, you will find that if it doesn't work over a period of time there will be new treatment plans to try. God speed. |
