Pharmacy tech at rite-aid?

How difficult is it to go from being a front end sales associate at Rite-Aid to being a pharmacy tech with at least a state license? Mine would be Alabama. I know you have to take a drug test. Is there a written test or do you get training on the job?

in Some states, you don't need training but here in california you need to take a course usually 6-8 months to be a tech. then
Each state shoud have a state board of pharmacy web, they shoud have the information needed to get a registration. and you can take a certification exam to be able to work in any state.
