Should i or shouldnt i?

i have been with my fiance for 7 years i am 24 he is the only person i have ever been with sexually, my only kiss my only everything....we met when we were 16 and i to am his only (so he has told me many many times) we used condoms in the first of our relationship now that we are older and on birthcontrol pills we no longer use condoms...i believe whole heartidly that he is faithful....but sometimes there is this nagging feeling in the back of my head that he has cheated or strayed even tho i have no proof and have came out and asked him if he has been faithful..all my life i have feared aids and sexually transmitted disease (the reason i have only been with one man) anyways i have noticed latley my immune system is very weak i have gotten like two colds in a matter of two months i guess my question is should i get a blood test or am i just being crazy. i guess i am always just afraid of getting aids or something...anyone have any ideas?? thanks.

Wow! You trust someone elses honesty with your life in this day and age?

The test is easy and fast. Go get tested just to be sure.

if its really bothering you get tested it'll settle the question, isn't 7 years a little long to be engaged?

Even in a monogamous relationship, it is important to have your annual checkup with a gynecologist. At that checkup, you can be tested for any STDs and request an AIDS/HIV test if you want to be sure.
Emotionally, I recommend telling your fiance how important his health is to you and request that he be checked as well. That way, if he tests positive for anything, you can discuss it as a health issue that matters to both of you rather than bringing up "I think you cheated" and sparking an argument that could eat away at the trust you have developed over the last 7 years.
You can make it a silly fun thing that you can make your appointment to go to a clinic together. I also recommend taking a list of your concerns (such as your immune system being weak) to the doctor so that you don't forget anything. Frequently, people are so nervous or get distracted by an unexpected question that they forget important symptoms that help a doctor diagnose.

Good luck to you!

You should definitely get yourself checked, it's better to be safe than sorry!!! there's a saying that if you feel and think something, then you're must likely right about it. if you got those thoughts in the back of your head... you should go with your guts... but then again... maybe you're just being paranoid! it happens to us all... but you should go get check, it'll give you a peace of mind. And there's nothing to be ashamed or afraid of. it's better to know!!!!

hmm weird...i would be tested just to put yourself at ease. maybe ask him to go with you and get tested too!

condoms don't protect against all areas where some stds can spread. if u have an instinct that he may be cheating sometimes its right. be warned that birth controll will not protect u against stds. if u can't trust him to be truthfull then use condoms until he comes clean with it. it has been a bad season for colds and if u live in a cold climate then u may get them more often. if your running around and super stressed out that can lower your immune system. a bad diet can also lower your immune system. if your worried though u should get tested. doctors have seen it all before so there should be nothing to be nervous or affraid of.

u should go get checked out just to feel more confortable...

u should alos get tested every couple of months just to check that u didnt contract anything.....u no just to make sure to keep urself healthy..... i suggest both u and ur partner go and get checked out together... i do that with my boyfriend... its just safer...

good luck =]
