Ever since I was diagnosed with an HPV infection...?

I have had anxiety attacks thinking that I have every terminal illness from cancer to diabetes to AIDs. I have had my blood tested for everything and am turning up completely healthy. I have been diagnosed with hyperventilation which is causing me to have tingles in my lips and hands and I am not able to eat becaues I feel nauseas. Can anyone help me get over this silliness so I can live a normal life again?

Speak to your primary care physician about this. Maybe consider asking for a referral for psychiatry.

well atleast this scared u enough it seems to care about urself. Always be careful & protect urself. U will be ok. Just dont be careless. B/c u never know who has been with who & done what. Just relax b/c teh tests say u r fine. U cant worry urself to death . Take it day by day & just relize how lucky u r to be alive & to be healthy:)

Did you know that HPV one of the most common STD's out there. Most women don't even know they have it unless they are diagnosed with an irregular pap. I am sure that you are feeling very anxious. In a world filled with AIDS how can you not. You think STD=AIDS. But you know that you are healthy in every other respect...just make sure you keep seeing your GYN on schedule because HPV can lead to cervical cancer. Not trying to scare you but when you know the facts it can at least help you deal with your health issues in a more realistic way. You really may need to get on some SSRI's but before you take that step, really think about your situation and realize all is well. You cannot control what your future holds but worrying too much can open up a new set of problems to deal with. Do some research on the net maybe that will ease your mind or call your GYN and bring a list of questions, but don't freak it will be ok. Good luck and God bless.
