Cures being thrown away?

i'm by no means a scientist. but i do read the news, and how they find cures, but when they test them on humans, they don't work. has anyone else ever thought about maybe they did find a cure that worked, but it didn't work on the test animal. who knows, maybe the cure for aids was found 10 years ago?

since some cures work on animals and not humans, i would have to assume the same could be true in reverse. and please, i'm not here to get into an moral or ethnical debate.

There is the possibility.

Ask some scientists and they would tell you that it would be great if they could test it directly on humans but because of the law (and tapes), they couldn't.

However, the good news is, even if the cures did not work, they store it and don't really throw them away. ^_^

I have often wondered that but then again i am not a scientist either but this is why the try to use animals with a similar anatomy especiall where the target i.e heart is concerned

Isn't that true, it seems that the scientists are just throwing away the cures and giving up on us.
