Internal/Under The Skin Vaginal Bumps?

I have these lumps(or at least they feel like lumps) on what seems to be under the skin on my upper vaginal area. They do not pus and aren't open sores. I've been to the doctor and I have hadan STD(which includes HPV, AIDS, Gonn.,Clam., Warts, Herpes, and so on) test and all was negative.

I have another appointment to try and pinpoint the problem or cause.

I would like to know if anyone has experienced this or what it may be called.

They are not warts. They are not on the surface and therefore don't look like cottage cheese. They are only painful when I push on them.

you are right to think they are not warts. the appearance of genital warts is much like cauliflower, raised above the surface and usually with a stalk. there is a good possibility that there are ingrown hairs (folliculitis), depending on the location of the bumps and if you shave or not. if they are on the inside of the labia majora (between the outer and inner labia), they could be cysts. there are oil-producing glands there that help with lubrication. similar to clogged pores on the face, they can can plugged up as well and this is actually quite common. any of these issues are not hygiene problems or STDs. if your gynecologist is still not sure what the bumps are, find a dermatologist. often your gyne office will be able to refer you to a derm specialist who works with these women's issues.

I really don't know...if it seems like the lumps are under the skin there...maybe they are small cysts you need to have removed. Do the bumps hurt? You mentioned that they are not open sores...that's good, and you have been tested for all the regular std's...of course the first thing that would pop to mind is warts...because that is what it really sounds like, but since you have been tested for that I guess I really don't know.

Second, do you use toilet tissue to wipe after you urinate? If yes, it could be tissue that stuck to your vaginal area and wasnt washed off. This causes skin to grow over the offending tissue. Hence, vaginal bumps.

To remove, just go to a clinic and get a pelvic exam. Ask the doctor if she can clean your area for you. Or you can remove it at home by simply scratching it off. But you have to do this under hygenic conditions.
