More atheist arguments defeated?

Here's one I've been seeing alot lately:

"If there is a God, why did it take over 100,000 years at the very least for humans to develop writing and why was the one "true" religion confined ONLY to the Middle East for thousands of years with only people in those areas getting a realistic chance of converting?"

This is a stupid question and it shouldn't even have been asked.

God did not allow us to come up with writing because it was a part of his plan. God likes to test us because it helps us grow. Life is SUPPOSED TO BE HARD. That is how you grow.

Just like it took over a 100,000 years for people to invent writing, it may take us many more decades to cure cancer or AIDS but it is all part of the test. It helps us grow.

God knows what's best for us.

If I were to believe in any one thing, and I used this analogy before, it would be that God and Satan are placing wagers on our next moves. God hoping for the best, and Satan sure we're gonna f*ck up some more.
I believe that your premise is correct, but you're still no where near being warm.
Much like watching the hour hand move on a clock, our planet is dying. Slowly, but surely. Global warming caused by CFC's, uhhh, no. As our sun gets older, it's gravitational pull gets stronger. And because our orbit isn't a perfect circle, the process is going to take a while. Sorry, I know I just went off topic, but you can continue thinking that God knows what's best for us, and I'll go on thinking that life is full of choices, and we are free to make our own.
